I and @marta.alonsoo had shot about 12 color rolls before the Corona-Quarantine, including a huge weekend photoshoot with Nastia, and since we couldn’t take them or send them to any lab for development, we decided to finally get into developing C41 at home. I have been developing black and white myself for more than a decade, so the transition was quite smooth. I used the Tetenal Colortec kit and the Cinestill TCS-1000 Immersion Circulator Thermostat for controlling temperatures. We’re extremely happy with the results, because from now on we don’t have to depend on various labs and constantly wonder about the freshness of their chemistry. Without further ado, here are my favorite shots from our first C41 home cookin’ session (be warned, this is a very long post):
Nikon F90 – Kodak Portra 160
“Almost Famous” photoshoot, using our orange rug, with Nastia looking like Bran from GoT

Some photos from one of the last game nights we had at our place just before the Quarantine. 🤞🏼Hopefully we’ll see some our friends again soon🤞🏼

I believe this last one perfectly encapsulates our collective sentiment during Quarantine and self-isolation:
Stay inside, stay safe, stay sane, and hope to see you all outside soon :)
