A testament to the dogs’ unique ability to just lie there as if no car has ever passed that spot
even though I passed that spot with the car 30 seconds ago and another one came by after a minute:
Finishing up the last 2 Rollei Retro 100 films. Hadn’t tried them before. Not a big fan,
outcome too heavily grey, i had to add contrast to all images in PS. All images
shot with the M6 and Summicron 35, scanned negatives with Epson V700,
no manip other than cleaning up, some levels and resize sharpness. :)
Living in Athens is a constant struggle against ugliness (amongst other things). Apart from often turning the camera towards
the sky, another option is to capture detail:
the little garbage face with the smirk:
another ninja move by a neighbourhood cat:
a quieter one:
and one on a good vantage point:
Super Marketing:
the next one I was really glad to have shot cause at the moment of the click a bottle fell from the shelf but, alas,
you can’t see it at all. If you go looking for it, it’s above the second carton on the floor on the first level:
shooting people this close up without them noticing has been a great pleasure indeed with the Leica:
I can never get enough of the fridge lighting in super markets:
and a little Calamari Andy Warhol exhibit there from the crafty super market clerk decorators:
Parking: (Check the crazy sharpness of the 35 Summicron on the detail of the mirror)
I quite like this last one, there’s a motorbike AND a cat crossing the road on the rear view mirror :)
